AIKEN MULTIPLE BLESSINGS CLUB |
Welcome and Congratulations! Having twins, triplets or more really is a blessing. Whether you are feeling overly blessed or overwhelmed, we know what you are experiencing and know how comforting it can be to discuss your concerns with experienced mothers of multiples.
Our club's top priority is to enjoy a monthly MOM's night out meal on the first Monday of each month, while we provide vital information to mothers of multiples as well as encourage and support. Our goal is to share the unique experience of raising multiples with moms in similar situations.
As a member of the Aiken MBC, you will meet new people, share lots of laughs, and find a new source of support and understanding. You will also be able to participate in our toy, clothing and equipment exchanges, attend holiday parties and special events, learn more about twin/multiple research opportunities, and much more.
If you have multiples or you are expecting multiples....Welcome to
multiplehood! We would love to have you join us at our meetings and
social events. We look forward to getting to know you and your

March of Dimes: March For Babies 2008
This was our team's fourth year raising money to help all babies have a chance to be born healthy. This year we raised over $3,500 and our own Jen Wicks was number one in Aiken raising over $1,900. Way to go Jen, we are so proud of you! Even though the Walk America event has taken place, we are still raising money for this worthy cause. To donate visit our team website:

Congratulations to our 2006-07 Member of the Year:
Carrie Bowers
The Aiken Multiple Blessings Club has chosen Carrie Bowers as our 2006 member of the year. Carrie is the mother of 2-year-old Grace and Caroline and 2 month old Bennie and joined our club in June 2005. She brings fun, energy and excitement to our monthly meetings, which she has rarely missed. She volunteered to establish our club Web site and serves as our Webmaster. She also volunteered to take on responsibilities as our Sunshine Coordinator, keeping track of birthdays and other special days in the lives of members and their families and helping see to the needs of members (especially new moms). Carrie has been known to surprise us at a meeting with homemade dessert. She has also been involved with our annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica fund raising event and is always willing to step up to help when called upon. Carrie and her husband, Len live in Aiken.
